This is a classic puzzle game featuring a man in overalls and some boxes. The game Sokouban has been ported to the arcades, Gameboy and even shareware games on the PC, but here it gets its Super Famicom outing.
In this game, the character you control is a man in overalls who tries to win the heart of this lovely lady (picture 2), but fails when all he has is a crusty old banger, so she decides for the guy with the flashy car. Our dungareed hero decides to push boxes around, so he can afford a class car...
"Push boxes? That's easy!" I hear you say. You sad people! It's not as easy as it seems, as I'll show you...
The boxes have to be placed in designated places within a limit of steps, and if you're careless enough you might get it trapped and you won't be able rescue it! It's a thinking game... Hmmm....
Graphics [6.1/10]:
The graphics seem a bit minimalist, don't they? But that could be because all that is needed is a man, a basic room, and some boxes. Still, they could have improved them graphics a bit because they look somewhat dull.
Sound and Music [5.6/10]:
The music only serves to annoy, and is very repetevie and annoying. And what sound effects? All I can hear is the music!
Game Play [7.1/10]:
The level design is pretty good, with some at extreme difficulties, and the easy and responsive controls may keep you hooked. But then again, they are simple.
Challenge/Replay [7.4/10]:
Even though you might make the odd 50-60 cockups, you may still return for more until you finish the damn puzzle! So it may last a while.
Conclusion/Overall [6.7/10]:
Even though the graphics are too simplistic, the sound is awful and the controls are too simple, this game is easy and addictive. I warn you that you may hate this game after getting hooked.
